We have not done a lot of work on the groomers these last 2 months, as we accomplished most of our work earlier in the summer, but we did get the track broken down and have the new track tensioner bolt installed. We have some minor welding to do on the track frame, put the track back together, and we will be ready to go. The diesel has been ordered to be delivered this month before we get snow. As you know, the groomer shed is uphill and hard to access with a delivery truck once snow flies. Cost of fuel is up, thanks to OSSA for sending my draws out early so I can pay for it without any service charges.
The new roof is working great, no leaks with the recent rains on the mountain.
I am getting ready to print the last half of the trail maps, as we have already gone through the first printing, which provides us with 2 years worth of maps on the 4 year advertising agreement with our advertisers. There are usually small changes that need to be made after 2 years of the 4 year contract to print the maps. Now is the time for anyone with an ad on the map to let me know if there are any minor changes to be made to their ad. I have already received a phone number change, an address change, and a misspelled word to fix. I will also be adding back Horseshoe Prairie Cross Country Ski Area on the map, as it got left off last printing. Please contact me if you have any minor changes at jessgranthompson@gmail.com.
