I was on the mountain yesterday to tighten the tracks on the 23 cat and do final preparations for the upcoming season. Of course we don’t have any snow yet and the forecast doesn’t look good till mid December. We need 18 inches of snow to get started and cover the rocks and stumps to prevent damage to the groomers. The gates on the Forest Service ground won’t be opened till we get enough snow after December 1 our season start date. Start doing your snow dance as this is a El-Nino year and we just don’t know what kind of snow or how much we will get. In the past it usually means less snow and warmer temperatures but who knows. We will take what we get.
