Went grooming today early morning hours out to Baldy, 64rd to Jubilee to Bone shelter and back 64rd. Also groomed Elk trail to 6403rd to 6411rd to 11a and back 6403rd Skyline to Baldy back to the shed. Went to Morning Creek Snopark and back. The trails were in good shape from last week due to cold temps and they are packed hard with small moguls. The Idaho drag behind the 20 cat does the best job grooming these small moguls with the hard packed trails. The tiller cat doesn’t cut the surface with the tiller very much and the front blade doesn’t cut it either because it is so hard. We need new snow on top of this hard surface to make better trials. Not much in the forecast this weekend. I will monitor conditions next week to see if it is worth grooming some of trails.
