Good 2 days of grooming with both cat’s running well. Cold nighttime temps down to 17 degrees last night setting the snow up. We have groomed to both shelters, Bone and Ruckle, 64 rd, 31 rd, 6411rd, 6403rd Skyline, Grodan Creek loop, Balloon Tree loop, McIntyre Loop, 3719 Rd Coyote trail, Pole trail, Target Meadows trail. In and out of all the Sno parks, Morning creek Sno park 3 times, to the store and back twice, out to Baldy and back 3 times. Thanks to the drivers for putting in the time to groom while it is cold to set the trails up. Always ride your sled to the right of the trail as the tracks of the Sno-Cat pack the outside of the trail. The middle is always softer and moguls out first. That’s my soapbox every year to make our trails last longer. This year has been tough to make good trails with wet snow and warm weather and rain. With the budget cuts this year by the state, I have used a quarter of my miles allocated for the year already with 2 and half months to go. So be kind to the trails and make them last. Hopefully everybody has read the article on the Web site that explains the grooming budget.
