This week we groomed the inner trail system from Baldy to Spout to the top of the hill above Woodland, Powerline trail, Pole Trail, main road from Morning Creek to Spout, 3719 road from Morning Creek to Spout. Went to TenEyke Meadow but not to the store as the bank from McIntyre Rd to the store has melted back to the point it is too narrow to groom. Also suspended grooming to the Chalet/Shumway last week due to snow melt and the trail melting away at the Corwin place. We are at the end of the season, as April 1 is next Wednesday, and the 4X4 will be on the trail. The Coronavirus 19 has caused problems with us trying to play by the rule of 6 feet apart, so we have not been able to car pool and I groomed by myself so as to not be in contact with anyone. Most of our drivers are over 60, so am trying to be proactive and keep them healthy. One of our drivers is in self-quarantine as a precaution.
A big thanks goes out to our drivers for all the scheduling changes as we have tried to adjust to changing weather conditions this year from deep snow, road closures, and warm temperatures and rain with flooding. There has not been 2 weeks that we have been up there on any kind of schedule, always in flux.
Thanks for your patience this year.
