On the mountain today to check snow conditions and trails on my snowmobile. The snow is hard with 1 to 4 inches of new snow on top. The trails have small bumps and mogels but enough new snow to keep my snowmobile cool and suspension cool. The worst trail was from Andes Prairie down the beaver slide to Andes Snopark. Otherwise the the trails are in good shape out to Ruckle Shelter, through Spout, out past Baldy, Elk trail, Skyline, Pole trail, to the Store. Good news this weekend the forecast is for 6 to 12 inches or more of new snow. This will give us snow to work with for next week after these storms pass. Heavy snow and wind are coming starting tonight through the first of next week.
